Emails while in Mexico!

Hola Amigos!!  Made it safe to tulum...after a long long night!!  Got a chance to sleep on the first plane, so I´m feeling pretty good now :)  Found a place in Tulum pueblo, because i was too tired to try to hike to the beach and try my luck at one of the cabanas.  The place i´m staying at is pretty sweet!!  Ít´s got a TV, bathroom, some books, a two person table, an AC unit, and of course a bed... But and the best part.... IT CAME WITH IT´S OWN MACHETE!!!!  That made my day!!!  hahah.  There´s also a dog yard/compound next to it, so i get to watch these dogs romp around while drinking warm beer outside my door.  I´m hoping those dogs dont bark all night long when i sleep.  But then again, i´m pretty used to that with my mutts :)ç

I met a brit named Ben in Playa del carmen who was heading to tulum too... he looked really hurt from the night before, and was definitely struggling more than I was.  Oh... and Abby.... I ran into ¨Homeless¨the dog about 20 minutes ago!!!  She looks great!!!  Definitely the same dog...but she was hanging outside a tattoo shop and now has a collar.  I guess she´s the dog previously known as ¨Homeless¨. 

Anywho!.... I´m going to head out to find some food and more importantly .... Mas Cervesa!!  I might stay in tulum pueblo again tomorrow, but head to the beach early in the morn for most of the day.  Then head back to town and hang there at night.

So far, the only bummer on my trip was that the airport somehow magically made my Dr Brommers Soap/shampoo stuff dissapear... which i worked hard to find and was strangely excited about using during this trip.  Instead, I showered with a little tiny bar of mexi-hotel soap...which was less than satisfying.  Better than nothing though :)
